FIELDS ARE NOT INDUSTRY APPROVED

Fields make the following fraudulent claim on their homepage:

As an industry leader, our data recovery service is officially approved by all leading hard drive manufacturers, including Fujitsu, Hitachi, IBM, Iomega, Lacie, Maxtor, Samsung, Seagate, Toshiba, Western Digital and numerous cell phone brands.

 Source: http://www.fields-data-recovery.com/

The manufacturers didn’t seem to agree when asked, in fact none of them even heard of Fields Data Recovery:

“That particular company is not listed as one of our Data Recovery Partners”

That company as you well put it is a total scam”

“We are not familiar with “Fields Data Recovery”

“Unfortunately, no they are not approved form LaCie at all”

“We are sorry but, Iomega is not affiliated with Fields-Data-Recovery in any way”

(Author’s identity kept private but original emails will be made available to the authorities upon request).
